My roomate--I don't know if Tumblr paid her or something like that--keeps nagging me about getting a tumblr. After two days of no-sleeping, I finally created a Tumblr!

I know for most people having a Tumblr is like saying good-bye to DA because you start having these crappy sketches instead of polished art to go into your DA gallery (wut), but I will still try to maintain my DA account, so no worries. I thought I'd pop up and tell you guys that I'm still alive (not that anyone cares lol) and kickin', and the reason for not uploading for a while and not replying to any messages is that I'm staying in my *other* hometown instead of my home with internet, so, I'm not forgetting about you guys or being mean or anything, just that I'm not able to tell you guys without World Wide Web. I'll get to you guys once in a when I get to Starbucks or somewhere with internet, and I'll probably go back in to my wireless-covered home in July. See you then! But please, PLEASE continue to leave me messages, comments or notes--I promise I'll get to them once I have the internet, and I appreciate them very much!!

Last night I had another dream involving Matt Smith/the eleventh doctor. This is approximately the fourth time that I've dreamed about him. I haven't even watched Dr. Who, especially the eleventh doctor, that much! I've watched all the Christmas episodes after that dream with David Tennant, several Nine episodes and several Ten episodes and that's about it! Is this a sign or something?
However, dreams involving celebrities or characters are always sort of fun. I've had several of them so far, and if you don't count the weird ones with celebrities that I don't even like and don't even care about, most of them are kinda interesting. I thought I'd note them down here in case I forget in time.

A classmate once said that she thought Benedict Cumberbatch looks ugly; that night I had a dream with that exact classmate spotting him. In the dream she got all excited and asked me to take a photo of her with him (dream is the opposite of life COMFIRMED), and after I did so and BC went away, I regretted not taking a picture with him myself. Luckily, we saw him again at another place; he was in his War Horse costume. I grasped the chance and asked for a photo; although BC was a little hesitant (because the costume may cause spoiler issues...dream logic, mind you), he was really nice and took a picture with me. After I woke up I was somehow disappointed because I don't have the picture anymore, like waking up after I dreamed about buying a lot of toys when I was little.

Another dream took place on a space station or something of that sort, and there's the issue of saving and guarding Earth (no big deal. Really). People take turns staying at that place, and Misha (who plays Castiel) was there with his family; he just got off duty and I...saw films with his family? They were showing me films that they were in, and Misha showed me King Kong, proudly saying that his wife was in it, and that's when I realised that his wife was Naomi Watts (woke up laughing). The next guard was the eleventh doctor (I like how Misha, not Castiel, is on the same rank with the doctor in my subconscious), and he asked me for black ink to...save the Earth, I guess. I went and retrieved my bottle of blue-black ink (I do have a bottle in reality) and I said, I only have this little bit left, and it's blue-black. The doctor said no problem, and in his hyper way, he got a little bit of red ink on his palm, and told me to pour my ink on his palm when he ask me to. He did something else with the ink on his palm and shouted, "Pour!" I poured the ink and like some kind of chemical reaction, the ink turned pure black. And I woke up. Maybe he shouted too loudly.

A few days ago I had another dream involving Misha. This time, he's my art teacher according to my classmates with whom I went out to relax and shop. It's late, but by a river there's this little Xbox game shop still open. Several male classmates rushed in, and from the glass wall of the shop, I saw that Misha is apparently running the shop as well. It's getting late and I took a cab back along with two other classmates--one of them being Zac Efron. (Don't ask me why, I don't even like him; it's probably the rumor of him coming to the business school of my university) He's really confident of his skill of drawing figures and anatomy, and therefore wanted to take the class of drawing a human heart first. I pointed at him and said "Challenge Accepted".

*Sign* I'm getting weirder and weirder.

So, the dream last night started with my cousin, another person that I forgot after I woke up, and me going to watch a movie that I forgot after I woke up. It was a huge cinema theatre, the size of a performing theatre, but the screen isn't that big relatively. It was 8:15 (I checked my watch) while the movie should start at 8:10 (you know how there's always trailers and ads before the movie), so I was going to go to the bathroom. Just before I got out, an ad of Sherlock being released as a feature film was showing on the screen. They used a dark-looking poster and a cheerful-looking fanart animation in the ad for some reason...but perhaps that's how my subconscious saw Sherlock as.

After I went out of the theatre, I saw Matt Smith standing there with a little shelf of his stuff. So I started chatting with him, completely forgetting about the move and the bathroom (Matt Smith does that to a person, I suppose...to be honest, if you saw Matt Smith standing outside of your movie theatre, would you still go to the movie?). Several more people, including David Tennant, came and chatted with us. Matt Smith started asking me whether I've read a certain book by __, who's supposed to be a famous author of classics--at least in my dream world. I've never heard of that book (obviously. It doesn't exist!), so I said no. He named several other books and I said no to all of them, watching his face fell and I was getting embarrassed because they're supposed to be classics that a college student should read, and I've disappointed Matt somehow. But he's still really nice and he retrieved a book (the only thing I remember from the title is: the b--- -----) from his shelf and showed it to me. Meanwhile, David asked Matt about the fez on the shelf and Matt got all excited and put it on when I woke up. Apparently when Matt Smith put on the fez, my dream world collapses.

I just found out that I'm often eating the world 's most disgusting food.

There was this news www.cnngo.com/explorations/eat… on CNN--it was some time ago, so, not strictly speaking "news"--about reporters eating and reporting about the world's most disgusting foods. Seriously, there are SOME FOOD in the world that are just...interesting. But the first food on the list was China's "century eggs", known as 皮蛋 (pi dan or pi egg) in China. It was described as "black eggs that have been preserved in clay for months" and it "tastes like the devil cooked eggs for me".

And I eat them as appetizers and sidedishes in summer frequently.

You may ask me how they taste--and I will tell you that they taste good. And it's reasonable. It's relatively reasonable, at least; look at the other foods on the list. Worms. Spiders. Cicadas and frogs. Eggs are a reasonable food, and century eggs aren't buried in clay for a CENTURY; they're like dry beef or pickles. They're PRESERVED.

I reasoned that the horrible taste of the century egg that the reporter described may be caused by her buying them in a supermarket in Texas. The taste isn't original then. Come to China and have a try! They're not as bad as you think.

I've been told, by many, that I will miss the food in China when I go to the States. Oh my foods. TAT
